BRUCETON MILLS -- Local artists gathered in Preston County for a Fiber Artist Holiday open house Sunday.
The eighth annual event was held by the owners of Hoping Acres farm.
About eight artists came to the event, showcasing their homemade products, such as: knitwear, pottery, and jewelry.
Dozens of people were in attendance and many of the products were made from animal fibers. The event is held in part to thank those fiber artists, organizers said.
"Everything is done from the ground up, we raise the animals, we spin the fiber and a lot of these people support us throughout the year through local farmers markets and crafts shows," said Kelly Anderson, of Hoping Acres Farms.
The open house also had a petting zoo that provided a majority of the fiber products for the event.
