Parades were held in Bridgeport, Lost Creek, Mannington and Shinnston.
BRIDGEPORT -- Christmas parades were held in communities around North Central West Virginia, Saturday.
In the morning, Santa and Mrs. Claus rode in a fire engine in Bridgeport's annual parade.
The weather kept some folks at home, but those who did show up were described as enthusiastic.
Saturday afternoon, Mannington also held its parade.
Later in the afternoon, a Christmas parade made its way through the center of Lost Creek.
After the parade, a gathering, featuring hot chocolate, was held at the Lost Creek Community Building.
Santa and Mrs. Claus and WBOY's Snowbird were on hand to greet the kids in attendance.
Another parade was held Saturday evening in downtown Shinnston.
WBOY on-air personalities and Snowbird participated in all four parades.
