KINGWOOD -- One person is dead following a single vehicle accident in Preston County.

It happened just after 2 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, on Route 26 north of the White Tail Mine, according to a press release from the Preston County Sheriff's Department.

A 2009 Chevy Colorado pick-up truck was on Route 26 when it crossed the center line, left the road and continued down a driveway for more than 200 feet, before hitting the front porch of a house, deputies said.

When it hit the porch, Nicole Celey, 21, was thrown from the truck, deputies believe.

The truck then flipped, throwing Kristopher Bolyard from the truck as well.

Celey was pronounced dead on the scene, and Bolyard was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital, in Morgantown, with unknown injuries.

The truck was registered to Bolyard, but Celey was believed to have been the driver, deputies said.

The Preston County Sheriff's Department, Fellowsville and Tunnelton Fire Departments, and Mountaineer and KAMP Ambulance Squads all responded.

The first thing that comes out of anyone's mouth when something like this happens is, of course, were they drinking. I knew Nikki - not sure about Bebo -- No one can tell what happened that morning except one person -- and I pray that he does get better soon -- As for what a person posts on their Myspace account -- them are just words -- Bottom line one young beautiful girl died that morning and her boyfriend -- last I heard was in pretty bad shape -- Did anyone ever think that someone ran them off the road or something -- or maybe something happened to the vehicle to cause it to go off the road?? So many different scenarios can be played out -- My heart goes out to Angel, Anne Marie and their whole family who I have known for some time now -- And anyone who can sit there and pass judgement and claim to know this and that -- and say the most hurtful things they said -- I honestly don't see how you can sleep at night -- completely heartless -- you evidently need to shut up and keep your opinions to yourself -- So many people are hurting right now and I am going to shut up right now -- But Bebo -- hang in there dude -- everyone is praying for your recovery -- and for his family stay strong -- not everyone is as ignorant as "fireman" and "Just Me" --

Thank You. Thank You to all of you who are praying for my brother and Nikki's family. Neither of these wonderful people deserve what they were dealt. Nikki: I miss you and loved you like you were my own sister. We had amazing laughs together and you will always be in my heart. Kris: You're my brother and I love you with all of my heart. You will always be my hero, no matter what these "firefighters" say. They come nowhere close to you Bub.

To all of you insulting, hurting, and just being rude: I cannot believe I just read some of these comments. Yes, my brother drinks. Yes, Nikki had great judgement and took his keys. Yes, Nikki lost her life and Kris is fighting for his. Yes, some of you may think alcohol was a huge part of this...but you are sadly mistaken. I believe in God. If Nikki was not with my brother, she would still not be here. I know that very few of you, if any, will agree. I know that not many people in this state believe anymore, but I do.

The people commentting on this site are making they're points and I'm glad all of you rude people get your anger out on here. But don't get on here thinking that you can trash talk my brother. You aren't the one at the hospital holding his hand, promising he'll be okay. He doesn't turn his head towards you and try to smile like he does to me. I love my brother and I love Nikki.

Hi Linda. Very valid point. In fact, in some jurisdictions, though I do not believe that West Virginia is one of them, Where I live now it is, if the bartender serves a person that is visibly intoxicated, and then that person drives away and hurts someone, there is indeed some liability. I think it's not so much criminally as opposed to civil.

I can't speak for anyone here - I can however say that as a public servant, fireman see's this on a regularly recurring basis. As I said before, I think perhaps a bad choice of wording is more at fault here than anything. I know I used to wish that people would just realize the danger they are putting themselves in and the consequences thereof.

I had to leave the job I had not because I didn't want to help, but more because it was affecting me emotionally. It's hard to go to an accident scene, for whatever reason it occurred, and see a young persons life wasted. I think that's the direction fireman is trying to take, though as I said, I can speak for no one but myself. Public servants, whether volunteer or paid, do indeed reach a point in time where they need to take a close look at what they are doing, and how it affects them. Some call it burnout. It can be emotionally distressing and cause us to say things in a way that we don't really mean.

This was a horrible tragedy,my prayers are with the families of both of these kids.IF there was drinking and driving involved (speculation at this point)and they were served at a bar, then what of the bars responsability.DID they serve someone that was visibly intoxicated, and why didnt they call someone for them?Bartenders and bar owners have a job to do,and they need to do it right.I would go back on the bar!(speculating that there was alcohol involved)Fireman if this is your tactic on how to deal with people who have endured something so tragic then you need to change occupations!

My heart goes out to ANYONE that this happens to.FYI - Texting is quickly overtaking drinking and driving Brandy. Nothing to do with this, I know. It never hurts to get the word out though.

Perhaps "getting sick of" was taken out of context, perhaps even a better choice of words was in order to be sure. Fireman is on one end of these events when they become a tragedy. I used to be on the other. There in preston county I might add - though I'm not there any longer. The point is, most accidents are because of drinking and driving. That's not to ridicule the parties involved in this particular case. I certainly hope your friend makes a full recovery. I'm saddened by the death of ANY young person whatever the means. What most people don't realize, is that a vast majority of accidents would suddenly stop if people would simply not drink and drive, not text their buddies when going down the road, or even playing with the radio for that matter.

Now, to the families of these young people, I am sorry that this has affected your lives. I wish there were a way that clocks could be turned back to fix things when we mess up, but we can't. We can only continue forward, and hope that those who survive can learn valuable lessons from the events.

I honestly don't think ANYONE is ungrateful, nor do I think anyone intended to be rude or thoughtless, though I do readily admit that there could have been better choices of words used. I don't think the opinions offered were wrong though.

I have known Nikki for years as she was my son's friend and used to come to my house daily. Where in the world did this Fireman get his report that there was alcohol involved anyway??? That is not the story we have heard, so keep your opinions to yourself. May God look after her family and friends in their time of mourning.... I pray for all that is lost and for people who take it upon themselves to just "assume".

Bebo, stay strong through all this. You are in all of our prayers and we all have faith in you. We love you bud. Rip:Nikki, you were a wounderful person, we had so many great times together. We love & miss you so much. To the "fireman" comment, how could you be so rude as to point fingers. One very special person has been lost and one is in serious pain fighting for his life, and you write something like that on a site that is suppose to help their families and friends get throught a horrible time like this. I think if you are sick of being called to these accidents, then this shouldn't be a job you volunteer for. Your whole heart should be in a job like this and obviously your isn't!

First, off we would like to say stay strong Bebo and please make it through this we are so sorry. You are one of the family we love you so much. Get well soon!! Second, RIP Nikki, You will be missed so much. You were always fun to be around and we loved having you here, you were always welcomed. Now to the "fireman" comment, have some consideration for the life that was taken and the one that is in pain. That is our family you are talking about and you have no right to say anything about them. You shouldnt be saying things that you dont know for sure or that you saw or heard on the job. I thought you were suppose to keep that stuff in confidence. They let you leave comments on here to show the families that they are in your prays and you are sorry for their loss. Instead you turned it around to act like their loved ones shouldnt matter. Dont point fingers and put the blame all on that for one thing why dont you turn around to the bar and ask why they let them drive home they have responsiblity to. These two were great people and loved by many at no means should it be okay for what happened to them. People are mourning here and you have no respect. Why does it concern you anyways. We are going to pray for you now, because obviously you lost your heart a long time ago and need one. And just as a note when you you leave these comments there is a box that you have to check that says "It is unlawful to disclose personal information," Just in case you cant read. You are not the only person in this world think about others feelings before you want to speak your mind... We all have downfalls but we try not to let them hurt others so if you are not happy with yourself then keep it to yourself..... AND THATS THE TRUTH!!

First I send my condolences to the families of those involved. I am reading all of the backlash to fireman and I dont know any of those involved in this as I am from Randolph county...but in defense of fireman's statement would you all be upset with his statement if someone would have been standing on the front porch of this house that the truck plowed into and died as a result? Fireman is right...this is what happens when driving and drinking are combined if that was the case...but no where in the news reports has it said that alcohol was a factor in this accident...so shouldnt it be given the benifit of the doubt and assume that it was due to some other cause. Prayers are with the families of these two young people. May God help and heal you through this.

To Fireman and Just Me,

I am a relative to the young lady who passed away with such little time on this earth and pray for her boyfriend and his family for a successful recovery. I am all about freedom of speech; however, there is a time and a place for it and you did not give a speech, you made a rude comment. Everyone is aware of the issues with drinking and driving and the risks at hand; however, it still happens. Accidents happen all of the time that DO NOT INVOLVE ALCOHOL... for instance, black ice, rain, texting and driving, and snow just to name a few. If you are so "sick" of arriving on these "scenes" then you are in the wrong business and should just stay home and out of it. The fact that my family has lost an beautiful young lady is more than enough grief and pain to deal with ... people like you need to keep your rude "opinions" to yourself. As I always say, "Karma" ... you should NEVER judge others because one day it may come around full circle! Therefore, I feel sorry for you that you have such a small mind and cruel heart that you would slap the faces of those in mourning. May God be with my family... Aunt Shirley and Angel my thoughts and prayers are with you daily... and as for you "fireman" and "just me" I am praying for you as well, that you may learn to not judge others and love your brothers and sisters.

May you be with God and the Angels Nikki

Accidents happen all the time from people not being familiar with the roads and/or from slick roads - which very well could have been the case here. Fireman - you absolutely have freedom of speech, and I don't disagree that this is a public forum for us to freely express our opinions. Condolences should be sent directly to her loves ones, because the greiving family surely isn't concerned with what a bunch of us write online as opposed to reaching out more personally. However, if YOU "fireman" responded to this scene and had information about the cause of the accident, doesn't it violate some sort of privacy policy that people in your position hold? If YOU personally were at the scene and are releasing information about the accident, I would think that you would have more concern for your job than to jump online and start spilling information. It violates the publics trust in our trusted professionals and gives all firemen a bad name.

He is ungreatful because thats the only dang thing he said he couldn't say i'm sorry for the families of the these people. Yeah people die everyday of different things but you don't go around saying well if they would have done something different this wouldn't have happened. And i can handle the truth i just can't handle people thats so ungreatful that they don't think about the family and friends of these people do you think they want to hear that at this time. He should have said it in a different manner.

Why is fireman ungrateful? The fact of the matter, is that this IS INDEED exactly what happens when people drink and drive. That's not laying blame anywhere except on those that made this happen. If the truth hurts, then don't read it.

It is indeed sad, and it's a shame that anyone has to be hurt at all because of something like this, but the truth is, until the drinking and driving stops, tragedies like this one will continue.
