WEBSTER SPRINGS -- Judge Robert Facemire has sentenced former Webster Springs city clerk Amy McCoy for embezzling money from the city.
Facemire sentenced McCoy to 13 to 40 years in prison and then suspended the sentence.
He ordered her to serve five consecutive weekends in the regional jail, a year on home confinement, and another five years on probation.
McCoy also will have to pay the city back more than $36,000 and perform 400 hours of community service.
Prosecutor Dwayne Vandevender said McCoy stole the money over a five year period starting in July 2005.
A jury convicted her of two counts of embezzlement and three counts of falsifying accounts.
