Classic Elements specializes in home and garden décor.

The sells things like garden statues, benches, fountains, and bird baths.

It also has pre-lit holiday wreaths.

The honors moved to the area from North Carolina and opened their business in Buckhannon because they love how friendly everyone is, they said.

"It's a nice, family-oriented place and we felt it would be a good place to start a business. We were interested in helping the downtown areas hopefully flourish," said owner Marilyn Troutman.

Classic Elements will soon change its hours to 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

Another new business is planning to open next door to Classic Elements, according to the Upshur County Development Authority

It will be a hot dog shop.
