While that one play didn't dictate Mountaineers the entire game, it certainly did not help.

For now, though, it's something the players have to accept and put behind them, the ladder part of which many of them seem comfortable doing.

"We still got the rest of the season. We could still go to a good bowl game. We just win out the rest of these - we'll be second in the Big East," sophomore defensive back Robert Sands said.

"Just got to get back to practice on Monday or Tuesday and get back to work. We still got a big rivalry against Pitt and we still got Rutgers, so we aren't going to sit down. We'll keep playing hard and keep playing football the Mountaineer way, and we'll see what happens in the end," junior defensive back Sidney Glover said.

"We still got a journey we got to complete. We just keep going, we just keep going," senior quarterback Jarrett Brown said.

The Mountaineers face Pittsburgh Nov. 27 at Mountaineer Field. Pittsburgh (9-1, 6-0) is tied with Cincinnati (10-0, 6-0) for the Big East title. They will face each other in their last game of the season Dec. 5 at Heinz Field.
