After a disappointing loss to Cincinnati, the WVU Football team is looking to finish the season strong.

CINCINNATI -- Everyone has seen the play — and the replay. WVU was up 14-7 on Cincinnati in the second quarter when one fumble turned touchdown changed all the momentum.

While that one play didn't dictate Mountaineers the entire game, it certainly did not help.

For now, though, it's something the players have to accept and put behind them, the ladder part of which many of them seem comfortable doing.

"We still got the rest of the season. We could still go to a good bowl game. We just win out the rest of these - we'll be second in the Big East," sophomore defensive back Robert Sands said.

"Just got to get back to practice on Monday or Tuesday and get back to work. We still got a big rivalry against Pitt and we still got Rutgers, so we aren't going to sit down. We'll keep playing hard and keep playing football the Mountaineer way, and we'll see what happens in the end," junior defensive back Sidney Glover said.

"We still got a journey we got to complete. We just keep going, we just keep going," senior quarterback Jarrett Brown said.

The Mountaineers face Pittsburgh Nov. 27 at Mountaineer Field. Pittsburgh (9-1, 6-0) is tied with Cincinnati (10-0, 6-0) for the Big East title. They will face each other in their last game of the season Dec. 5 at Heinz Field.

Hey, this goes back to the Rod days, he had WVU football on the map, yes he did us bad, but WVU did him bad too, now WVU is rubbing dog do do in our face by letting Stewart stand there and act like a coach. I would prey to God that we had Rod back ! At least WVU football had everyone scared to play us, now were getting laughed at ! YOU MADE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF WVU HISTORY, LETTING STEWART BE THE COACH ! FACT !

If what they have been doing is( playing football the mountaineer way) the play calling had better take another look at the play book . The coaches have been able to adjust to the game in in the past but now they seem to have picked out a few plays and run them if they work or not . WAY TO PREDICTABLE cannot adapt to the game . Devine around the outside might work sometime but mix it up with the pass, up the middle with power back , reverse, mix it up a little to keep the defense honest .
