MORGANTOWN -- Ground Zero Fighting Systems in Monongalia County hosted a Grappling Open Saturday at the Mountaineer Mall.
Organizers say grappling is a mixture between Jiu-Jitsu and wresting.
More than 100 people ages 5 and up participated in the matches.
Saturday GZFS held its third tournament in Morgantown.
"It's about strategy and thinking," said Don Cunanan, Ground Zero Fighting Systems.
"A lot of people after they wrestle in high school or wrestle in college, where do they go after that, unless they're the best guy and compete in the Olympics they need something else to do so we give them something else to do on the mat," said Cunanan.
The next event will be held in April.
