ELKINS -- The West Virginia Railroad Museum is raffling off a model train set.
Members of the museum's board of directors said it took about 400 hours to build the model railroad, which includes a locomotive, power supply, buildings, figures and scenery.
Some of the buildings even have the names of local businesses on them.
Tickets are $5 or five for $20.
"We're trying to find a unique way of getting some money in. If we can give people the opportunity to own this layout, it's something they're not going to find anyplace else," said Jim Schoonover, president of the West Virginia Railroad Museum.
Raffle tickets are available at the Elkins Depot, Davis Trust Company, Ceramics With Class, Rail and Trail stores, and the Durbin Depot.
The drawing is scheduled for Dec. 19.
The winner would choose between the model railroad or $500 cash.
