BUCKHANNON -- Buckhannon Police are investigating an accident that happened on Rt. 33 near the Morton Avenue hill Monday afternoon.
Officers responded to the call at 12:46 p.m.
A Dominion Post delivery van was traveling west toward Buckhannon when it lost control, went into the median, and rolled several times, according to police.
The van then went into the eastbound lane and slid into the guardrail, officer said.
Police identified the man as James Carey, 61, of Uniontown, Pa.
The Upshur County Sheriff's Department is assisting with the investigation.
