CLARKSBURG -- The U.S. Post Office in downtown Clarksburg has changed its window hours.
The old hours were from 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., but the postal service says it was not getting enough business in the early morning hours to justify staffing the window.
The new hours will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The downtown Clarksburg branch is closed on weekends.
The hours are now posted in the post office lobby.
The post office on Clarksburg's Emily Drive is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
