WEST UNION -- The Doddridge County Board of Education discussed tracking attendance because of the flu outbreak during its regular meeting Thursday night.
The board says it doesn't have as many flu cases as other counties.
It reports an absentee rate of 17 to 20 percent county wide over the last couple of weeks.
Superintendent Janice Michaels says the county prepared for these cases early on.
The health department will hold an H1N1 swine flu clinic at Doddridge County High School, Tuesday, Nov. 10, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
It will administer vaccines to students in grades Kindergarten through fourth.
