FAIRMONT -- Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community and Technical College are doing what they can to help soldiers transition from the battlefield into the classroom.
The schools held a veterans forum, Thursday Oct. 29 at the Falcon Center.
Veterans were able to discuss their collegiate concerns and needs in a small, group setting.
Organizers say more than 200 veterans attend both schools and have different needs than the average student.
The forum was sponsored by the student government and the FSU Rugby Club.
