Seriously? I'm not sure the point of debating any of it - what's done is done. but, you act as if the legal system doesn't investigate. I would find that very hard to believe. And if anyone would know the legal system - it would be his father. After all he was a policeman himself. If there was any concern at all that an innocent man was being convicted, I imagine his father would have known all the in's and out's to bring this to light, and investigation. The truth is, there is not a doubt in my mind that he is guilty. why? because I was just one of many that he approached when I was also under age. Why didn't these girls come forward sooner? Because it is shameful, and gross to have a grown man come onto you. To want to date you to take advantage of you and your age. Also, as an underage girl, especially if you are naive - you may not understand until much later what has taken place. Sometimes your just afraid. Afraid no one will believe you, afraid you might ruin someones life, afraid what they might do if you tell and no one believe's you and he's free to come back. Before you pass judgement on these girls, imagine if it was you or your daughter.. try to walk a few steps in their shoes first. More often do guilty people go free than innocent people go to jail. Why is it so hard for anyone to believe a jury would find him guilty? After all he did plead guilty to similar charges. As for the comments made by "concerned citizen" ...your comment was hard for me to follow...but if I understand you correctly...you believe those young girls made false statements. I can only imagine the hurt, shame and humiliation they have had to relive....to seek their justice. What was taken away from them as children can never be given back...and will impact the rest of their lives. I can only pray that the jury returning the GUILTY PLEA will start the process of healing for those young women. I think they were very brave to have come forward and stop this monster.

18 years ago. what I don't understand, why did them young girls wait 18 years later to bring it up, and didn't say anything within a year. I know this person, and I myself believe he would do that. Mainly underage. I know where it was suppose to happen, and i believe them young girls make it becuase the hated him, also girs today underage know's that they can say anything not true but the law take no time making it a public issue. Had them young girls been investigated about their present and passed and what others say about them ? BUT, if he did do it, then justice has been served, but where is the proof that he did do it. Come on ! WE the PUBLIC needs to hear the truth. Investigate them young girls past.and how their parents were than.
