LOST CREEK -- One injury was reported in an accident south of Lost Creek on Friday morning.

The Lost Creek Fire Department, Anmoore EMS, West Virginia Department of Transportation, and the Harrison County Sheriff's Department all responded to the scene.

A silver Toyota from West Virginia slid into the an embankment.

The driver of a gray Nissan from Maryland was trapped briefly when his car flipped onto its top, said the driver and Anmoore EMS..

Initial reports said all drivers and passengers were OK.

An ambulance was later called back to the scene and took one person to United Hospital Center.

The extent of that person's injuries was not reported.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department is investigating.

The media needs to start adding the fact whether or not the drivers involved were on the cell phone. The always add if the motorcyclist had on a helmet or not. Stupidity rules I guess!

Just to get the story straight...The silver Toyota was not from Maryland....the Nissan was the correct vehicle that had Maryland lic. plates. And the driver in the Nissan was not trapped in his vehicle at all. It would be nice if the authorities that print these stories would get the facts correct.

That section of the road is so dangerous.. I hate driving it.. If the fire dept. had a dollar for every accident on that road they woulndt need grants.
