BOWDEN -- A restaurant in Randolph County is destroyed by fire early Sunday morning.
The River Car Restaurant caught fire around 3:30 am, according to the Elkins Fire Department.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, fire officials say. The state fire marshal is expected to begin an investigation on Monday.
The Elkins and Beverly VFD's responded to the blaze.
No one was in the restaurant when it caught fire, fire officials say.
The business is a total loss, officials say.
