STAR CITY -- A chemical truck overturned in Monongalia County, Wednesday morning.

The tanker overturned in a ditch in Star City, near the University Town Centre shopping plaza.

The county's hazardous materials team responded, along with police and firefighters.

Traffic was restricted to one lane in that area and half of the Sheetz gas station was also closed off from the public until crews cleared the scene.

I don't know how many times I have to say it. TRUCK DRIVERS ARE COMPLETE MORONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really you can't tell if you can make that turn or not. You have to wait until your truck is lying on its side? Idiot.. If I were Sheetz I would be suing your company for loss of business for the whole day. And who was in charge of this clean up.. Does it really take 10 hours to roll a truck back over on its side? I understand it had chemicals in it, I think I would be more worried about the chemicals leaking and affecting everyone up on University Town Centre. It was like you were waiting for something to happen.. So overall .. ALL PARTIES ENVOLVED... FIND A NEW PROFESSION.. I heard McDonalds is hiring..
