Michael Surbaugh was a teacher at Webster County High School.
WEBSTER SPRINGS -- Webster County authorities have charged a Webster Springs woman with murdering her husband.
Prosecutor Dwayne Vandevender says Julia Surbaugh shot and killed her husband Michael last Thursday.
It happened at about 7:30 a.m. at the couple's home.
Surbaugh was booked in the Central Regional Jail, Wednesday morning and is charged with first degree murder.
Authorities have not released a motive in the case.
Michael Surbaugh was a former science teacher at Webster County High School.
The state police arrested him last May, after they found 14 grams of marijuana, various prescription drugs, a loaded .22 caliber pistol, and several knives in his car.
