It happened at the Stonewood/Nutter Fort exit.

Four people were injured Tuesday afternoon in an accident on Interstate 79 in Harrison County.

It happened just before 2:30 p.m. at the northbound exit ramp at exit 115.

Witnesses say a Chevy Impala was in the left lane when it cut across the right lane and tried to exit the highway.

During the lane change the car was hit by a truck and flipped over, witnesses say.

Two people were flown by helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown and two others were taken by ambulance to United Hospital Center in Clarksburg.

There is no word on their names or conditions.

Route 20 was shut down for a time to allow the helicopters to land.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department is investigating the accident.
