MORGANTOWN -- Commencement Weekend wraps up at West Virginia University Sunday.
NBC's Hoda Kotb was the guest speaker for the School of Journalism graduation.
Kotb lived in Morgantown for 10 years as a child while her father was a professor in the Engineering School.
Now Kotb is a co-anchor for the Today Show and a Dateline NBC Correspondent.
Kotb shared her experiences with students about what it was like looking for her first job and how she was nervous about joining the workforce.
"What I wish I would have known is that it comes. Don't panic or freak out because it does come - if you're driven. Ambition is the whole name of the game. It's the whole "not quitting," because people drop out of whatever race it is, and if you're still standing, by the law of averages, you're going to get something."
Kotb ended her speech by sharing Country Roads from her iPod.
