GRAFTON -- The Taylor County Sheriff's Department says two men, posing as police officers, robbed a man Tuesday.

The two men and possibly a third man driving a vehicle approached an elderly man in his home.

They identified themselves as police officers and searched him and his home.

The men took his wallet, cash and credit cards, prescription drugs and two guns.

They also made him sign a statement to get his signature.

The Taylor County Sheriffs Department is investigating the incident.

Sheriff Robert Beltner says you should always ask to see identification of anyone claiming to be a police officer.
