The Service League of Morgantown invites you to our annual Holiday Open House at the historic Old Stone House Gift Shop located at 313 Chestnut Street in Morgantown, WV (next to the “old” parking garage on University Ave. & across the street from the downtown PRT station). Please join us to kick off the holiday season on Friday, October 30 and Saturday, Oct. 31 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. & on Sunday, Nov. 1 from noon-4 p.m. Enjoy complimentary spiced tea and homemade cookies as you browse and shop. Unique holiday gifts, ornaments, foods, and handcrafted items in a historical, quaint atmosphere. Many of our gift & food items are WV made. WVU Pottery Dept. mugs and soup bowls and New Geneva Pottery crocks are also available. All proceeds from this event benefit the citizens of Monongalia County. “Step back in time”& shop where your dollars are returned to your community.
The Service League of Morgantown is a non-profit organization that owns & operates The Old Stone House Gift Shop in downtown Morgantown. The Old Stone House is the oldest stone dwelling in Monongalia County (built in 1795) and listed on the Historic Preservation Registry. From profits earned through sales in its gift shop, Service League has been assisting the citizens of Monongalia County since 1935. In our 74 years, the League has donated over $326,000. to improve the lives of local citizens through charitable, education and cultural activities.
Extended holiday hours in Nov. & Dec.: Monday through Friday 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. ; Saturday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.; and Sundays noon - 4 p.m.
