Light precipitation fell here in our part of the world today. As I write this, radar is still showing some light rain and snow, especially across Randolph county. Another weather disturbance tracking through the state will keep a few rain and snow showers in the forecast on Wednesday. Highs will top off in the upper 40s. After that, we don't anticipate active weather for a few days. In fact, the weather will be tranquil will moderating temperatures by Saturday and Sunday.Expecting highs over the weekend to reach the 60s. Those afternoon highs should stick through early next week, before moisture lifts north and squeezes out some showers Tuesday afternoon Wednesday. Have a nice Thursday! JP
