We got very warm here in northern West Virginia today. Here in Clarksburg, we reached 80 degrees, breaking the old record of 79 set back in 1927. We also set a record in Morgantown, reaching 78 degrees and breaking the old record of 77 set in 1971. It's a shame, but the warm air won't be with us much longer. A cold front pushes the warm air out and allows the cool air to move into the state. On Saturday, a line of showers along the front is expected. We are hoping that most of the wet weather will be out of here by the evening, just in time for Trick or Treat. On Sunday, a weak weather disturbance moving along the front throws a few showers back across the state early, otherwise partly cloudy and cooler for Sunday afternoon. Right now, the weather for next week looks pretty quiet. A weak front might give us a shower Tuesday, other than that, we should stay dry and a bit cool. Have a nice weekend! JP
