Katie joined the WBOY Sports Team in August 2009 after graduating from the P.I. Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University with a B.S. in Broadcast News and a minor in Music. In the Spring of 2009, Katie was the Sports Anchor for WVU News. Katie was born and raised in Elkins, WV and graduated from Elkins High School in 2005. She was an intern for WBOY in the Fall of 2007 and was also an intern at KNBC-TV in Los Angeles, CA in the Summer of 2008. Katie loves watching and playing sports and is excited to start her career near home.
