Hilary Magacs Hilary joined WBOY as the Upshur and Randolph County reporter in September 2007.

Originally from Binghamton, NY, Hilary holds a masters degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University. She also has a B.A in communications from the State University of New York College at Cortland.

Hilary gained on-air experience while completing her masters program in Washington, D.C. During her time in the nation’s capitol, she had the opportunity to report for WMBD-TV, located in Peoria, IL.

When she’s not working, Hilary loves to travel and has been to Germany, France and Australia. She’s hoping to visit Japan or Ireland next.

Hilary is excited to be living and working in such a beautiful state and enjoys exploring the area.She loves meeting new people, so feel free to introduce yourself or send a story idea to her at the email address above!
